Police appeal after suspected arson in Wormley
A 16-year-old boy from Cheshunt was arrested on suspicion of arson and burglary with intent to steal following the fire last month
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a suspected arson in Wormley.
Between 3pm and 4.30pm on Monday 7 April, an outbuilding just off Beaumont Road was broken into.
Tools were then removed from the building before it was reportedly set alight, causing extensive damage to surrounding fences and fields.
Following enquiries, a 16-year-old boy from Cheshunt was arrested on suspicion of arson and burglary with intent to steal. He’s been bailed while the investigation continues.
