Police investigating a fatal crash in Milton Keynes earlier this week are appealing for witnesses.

At around 6.05pm on Monday (19/7), a white/blue motorcycle and a bus crashed on Queen Eleanor Street, near the roundabout junction with High Street.

The rider of the motorcycle, an 18-year-old man, died at the scene. Police say no one else was injured.

The man’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by a specially trained family liaison officer.

Investigating officer PC Phillip McGlue, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “First and foremost, my thoughts and the thoughts of Thames Valley Police are with the family and friends of the man who has died as a result of this collision."

“If anyone has any information about the incident, please call 101 or make a report online, quoting reference number 43220319667.

“Also, if you have any CCTV footage in the area or any dash-cam footage if you were in the area around the time, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.”
