Police appeal following collision in Furneux Pelham

Hertfordshire Police are appealing for information, witnesses and dash cam footage

Officers are appealing for information, witnesses and dash cam footage following a collision in Furneux Pelham.

The incident happened on Sunday 24 April in The Street by the junction for Violet Lane.

At around 11.20am, a white Volkswagen Crafter van and a cyclist were involved in a collision.

The cyclist, an 18 year old woman, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

PC Katie Cunningham, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.

“If you were driving in the area at the time and have a dash cam fitted to your vehicle, I strongly urge you to check the footage and get in touch if you spot something that might help.

“Please get in touch by calling the non-emergency number 101 or email me quoting ISR 247 of 24 April.”
