With better weather & most attractions back open, Visit Bucks & the Chilterns are asking us to get out and about

Buckinghamshire's tourism industry is being celebrated this week - and we're being asked to get out and enjoy what's on offer.

With international tourism down, of course, Visit Buckinghamshire and the Chilterns say it's down to us to support attractions.

The organisation are supporting English Tourism Week and asking the public to do so too by visiting and enjoying Buckinghamshire's accommodation providers, restaurants, pubs, cafes, museums and other attractions.

The Visit Bucks website and social media platforms are the go-to resources for locals and visitors to Buckinghamshire.

Lucy Dowson, Tourism Development Manager of Visit Bucks, said:

"Our tourism and hospitality businesses have felt the full force of Covid-19, with their cash flow turned off overnight, and we are doing everything we can to support them.

"Visit England's 'English Tourism Week', along with its soon to be relaunched 'Escape the Everyday Campaign', are great initiatives for everyone to get behind."

With staycations set to soar this year, English Tourism Week is a great opportunity for businesses in this sector to shout about their offering, and for holiday makers to discover new places and experiences.
