Pensioners in hospital after Bletchley collision

The man and woman, both in their eighties were helped by the public after being knocked down

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.

Between 10.30am and 11am on Monday (6/11), a silver Ford Fiesta was involved in a collision with two pedestrians on Findlay Way.

The pedestrians, a man and woman both in their eighties, sustained serious injuries, which required hospital treatment, where they remain at this time.

Investigating officer PC Barry Gregory, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “This collision occurred in an area which would normally have had many pedestrians and vehicles within it at the time.

“I would like to thank the members of the public who stopped at the scene to help the injured pedestrians and the driver.

“I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to please come forward.

“We are also requesting those who may have captured the incident on CCTV or dash-camera to make contact.
