Hertfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses, footage and information after a crash involving a car and pedestrian in Welwyn.

Officers were called to Digswell Hill, outside the Red Lion Pub last Thursday (March 21).

A grey Honda and a pedestrian in her sixties were involved in the crash.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with a serious head injury.

PC Kyle Whitelaw, who is investigating, said: “We’ve spoken to the people involved however there were no direct witnesses at the scene.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened. Similarly, if you were in the area and have a dash cam fitted, please check it and get in touch if you can help.

“You can get in touch by emailing me at Kyle.Whitelaw@herts.police.uk quoting ISR 470 of 21 March.”
