The Elgiva theatre in Chesham has announced its pantomime is back this Christmas.

It could not take place last year because of coronavirus restrictions.

This December, the theatre will be staging Snow White which has been produced in association with New Pantomime Productions.

Theatre manager David Cooper said:

"Christmas isn’t Christmas without a panto – we promise a proper professional family pantomime, filled with spectacular special effects, fabulous songs, wonderful costumes, great gags and oodles of slapstick.

"And of course plenty of audience participation and sing-a-longs."

Pantomime Dame, Sean Luckham, will also be returning.

He will be joined by TikToker Hannah Lowther, who has more than 12.3 million likes and over 377,000 followers, and James Crossley who played Hunter in the TV show Gladiators.

David Cooper added:

"We have a stellar cast this year – top professionals who also know how to have fun with a performance, engage with the audience and ensure every show is fresh and sparkling.

"I really cannot wait to hear our theatre ringing with laughter, full of the buzz of happy, celebrating families."

The first performance will be on Saturday, 4 December, at 1pm.

The show will end at the end of the month, on 31 December at 4.30pm.

Tickets can be booked online or via the Box Office on 01494 582900.
