Pair arrested after large hunting knife & drugs found in Aylesbury

They will appear in court today

After a large hunting knife and a lot of drugs were found in Aylesbury yesterday, two men have been charged.

The pair were arrested on Monday afternoon, after police found 'a substantial quantity of drugs' and the large knife.

A 21-year-old and a 19-year-old will both appear in court today.

The first has been charged with the following;

  • Possession with the intent to supply Cannabis.
  • Possession of a knife/bladed/sharply pointed article in a public place.
  • Possess/acquire/use criminal property.

The second individual was located and arrested at a related address but has also been charged with:

  • Possession with the intent to supply Cannabis.
  • Possesses/acquire/use criminal property.

Both remain in police custody and will appear in court today (05/01).

In a post on Facebook, officers said:

"Our stance on knives is clear. Carrying a knife is not tolerated and the effects that knife crime can have are far reaching, impacting victims, their families and local communities."

The arrests were made under the Operation Stronghold banner.
