Hertfordshire Firefighters say there are no casualties, after eight fire engines were called to a blaze in Rickmansworth last night.

Crews, as well as an aerial platform and a drone were called to the fire in Chorleywood Road, which was closed whilst they attended the scene.

Large amounts of smoke were created by the blaze, which could be seen over parts of the M25.

Local residents were urged to keep their windows and doors closed as smoke spread from the area.

Firefighters were working to tackle and contain the fire, after being called to the scene just before 7pm.
