Plans to create a new children’s day care centre have been submitted to the council.

Mr Oliver Cove of Woodhill Avenue in Gerrards Cross has submitted to Bucks Council a ‘change of use’ application for 1 Bois Moor Road, in Chesham.

The current site is described as “light industrial” in council documents.

However, it is the former offices of Jo Jingles, according to an employee, a company offering ‘music and movement classes and parties for babies and pre-school children’.

In addition to creating a new nursery and day care centre called “Kiddies’ Cove”, plans also include some external alterations such as changing windows and doors and the removal of some side shutters.

Some signage, brickwork and the installation of a new two-metre-high side and rear fence is also planned, according to council documents.

Two existing parking spaces will be retained but no additional spaces are mentioned.

Bucks Council validated the online application on Wednesday, April 28.

It is believed the application may have been submitted some time since the beginning of April.
