Police are appealing to the public to help identify a distinctive car involved in an ongoing murder case in Hertfordshire.

Mustapha Jatta was 30 when he was shot and killed in Railway Terrace, in the Kings Langley area of Hertfordshire in the early hours of September 17th, 2024.

Investigations into Mustapha's death are ongoing, with enquiries now focusing on a distinctive car that was seen in the area at the time of his death.

The car - a Ford Fiesta - was seen in both the Kings Langley and the Watford areas between the end of August and September 17th.

According to descriptions of the car, the vehicle was seen to have one red and one black wing mirror, as well as red detailing on the front of the car. It also contained a red section in the middle of the dashboard.

Crimestoppers have now offered a total of £20,000 in return for information regarding the case that could lead to the conviction of Mustapha's killer.

Speaking on the incident, Detective Inspector Adam Bridges from Hertfordshire Police explained: "As part of our active investigation into Mustapha’s murder, fresh information has led us to conduct enquiries into this distinctive vehicle.

"Do you recognise this car or remember seeing it in the Watford or Kings Langley area? I appreciate some time has passed, but I am hoping the identifiable features on the car may jog someone’s memory.

"If anyone has any information which may help progress our enquiries, please get in touch.”

Anyone who may have any information regarding the murder can get in touch by calling 101 and quoting Operation Tempo in their evidence.
