Motorcyclist hospitalised after serious collision in Beaconsfield

A man is in hospital following a serious collision in Beaconsfield in the early hours of this morning.

At about 12.35am at the Pyebush roundabout, a 28-year-old male motorcyclist, lost control of his vehicle and sustained a serious, life threatening head injury.

He was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains. The man's next of kin have been informed.

Investigating officer, PC Thom Piercy, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “This incident has resulted in a man sustaining life threatening injuries, and I would like to appeal for anyone with any information to come forward.

“If you saw the incident, or saw the motorcycle driving prior to the collision, please contact us as soon as possible. We would be particularly interested in hearing from you if you have any dash-cam footage which could help our investigation."

Police are asking witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to call them on 101.
