Search for missing Bletchley man continues as family appeals for public’s help
26 year old Thomas has been missing from Bletchley since October 6th, his partner says their children are "heartbroken"
Police say they are becoming 'increasingly worried' for the welfare of a 26-year-old man, who has been missing from the Chester Close area of Bletchley since the early hours of Sunday, 6 October.
Despite widespread and ongoing searches by the police, the man, who's name is Thomas, has not been found, prompting his family to issue a public appeal for help
The search effort has now been extended to rural areas around Bletchley, including Newton Longville, Mursley, and Great and Little Brickhill, with specialist units aiding the operation.
Thomas’s mother, Deborah, expressed her deep concern and urged local residents to remain vigilant. “We urge anybody who is out and about walking, especially dog walkers, to please keep an eye open for Thomas. He prefers to be outside in secluded places away from the public eye. Thomas, if you hear or see this, please come home. We are all missing you and love you so much. Lots of love, Mum and family,” she said.
His partner, Casey, also made a heartfelt appeal, asking the community not to give up hope. “I would just like to say please don't give up on Tom. Please keep sharing and searching, keeping your eyes open to help bring him home where he belongs with his family and with his children. Tom, if you read this, please know I love you so much, and the kids are really missing their daddy. I can't do this alone. I really need you back, and the kids are heartbroken that they don't have their dad at the moment.”
Thomas is described as 6ft tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a black jumper, a blue hooded top, and black Adidas trainers with three white stripes. According to his family, he has a preference for staying in secluded areas, often away from public spaces.
The police have intensified the search, including the use of the Mounted Section, who have been deployed in the rural areas around Newton Longville and Mursley. Detective Chief Inspector Emily Shepherd, leading the investigation, stated: “Despite extensive searches across Milton Keynes, Bletchley, the Brickhills, and surrounding areas, we have not been able to locate Thomas. Naturally, our concern for his safety is increasing day by day, and so we are again re-appealing today. Do you think you may have seen Thomas at any point after 6 October? If so, you can report possible sightings via our dedicated missing persons’ portal, or call us on 101.”
Local residents are encouraged to remain alert, particularly in the expanded search areas, and to report any information that could assist in locating Thomas.
