Milton Keynes school locked down after police incident
One person has been arrested and police remain at the school after a brief lockdown at Hazeley Academy in Milton Keynes
Police were called to Hazeley Academy in Milton Keynes today following what they described as an isolated incident.
The school was temporarily placed into lockdown as a precaution. Thames Valley Police confirmed there were no injuries.
A spokesperson said: "We responded to an isolated incident today at Hazeley Academy.
"The school was briefly locked down as a precaution.
"One arrest has been made and there have been no injuries reported.
"Officers remain at the scene to reassure staff and students."
Police said there is no wider threat to the community.
