Milton Keynes Dons unveil new club crest
The club's announced an evolution of its branding following consultations with supporters for the 2025/26 season
Milton Keynes Dons have unveiled their new club crest ahead of the 2025/26 season, marking a change in the club’s identity and branding, as stated by the club.
The decision follows consultations with the MK Dons Supporters’ Board and a survey of season ticket holders, where 64.8% of respondents supported the evolution of the design.
Chairman Fahad Al Ghanim said, "The evolution of our club crest marks a new era for Milton Keynes Dons. We’re excited about the direction the club is heading in, both on the pitch under Head Coach Paul Warne and off the pitch with CEO Neil Hart. The 25/26 season is set to be exciting for everyone associated with MK Dons. After a transitional season, we can now look forward with optimism and focus on building sustainable success."
CEO Neil Hart explained, “When the new ownership group acquired the club last year, one of the priorities was to understand the club’s identity and branding. The idea of a brand evolution was presented to the MK Dons Supporters’ Board, who showed unanimous support. We then surveyed season ticket holders, and 64.8% gave their approval for the evolution. We believe now is the right time for this change.”
The new crest will be introduced across the club’s platforms and displayed at Stadium MK as part of a wider branding update. It will also feature on all team kits for the start of the new season.
Hart added, "The evolution of the crest is central to our future plans. We want to create an identity that supporters can connect with. As the new crest appears at the stadium and online, we believe supporters will appreciate the design."
The updated crest will be used across all club teams, including the Men’s First Team, Women’s First Team, Academy, Boys and Girls age groups, and Disability teams.
The new crest features a circular shape, representing unity and strength. It also incorporates a reference to Milton Keynes’ roundabouts. The updated typography now features "Milton Keynes" in place of "MK" and includes the phrase "Football Club" beneath it. The colours of the crest – white, black, gold, and red – remain consistent with the club’s established identity.
The new design will be a long-term commitment, appearing across all platforms and physical locations associated with the club.
