Men sentenced for drug and knife offences

Two men have been sentenced for drug and knife offences in High Wycombe.

At Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday (12 December), Paul Quaicoe, 20, of Orchard Avenue, Feltham, and Jeffrey Mensah, 20, of Carlton Avenue, Feltham, pleaded guilty to a number of offences.

Quaicoe pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to supply a class A drug, namely heroin and count of being concerned in the supply of heroin at the same court.

Quaicoe was sentenced to two years and six months in a young offender’s institute

Mensah pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article in a public place at the same court.

He was sentenced to three and a half months’ imprisonment.

On 28 July, Quaicoe was seen by police placing class A drugs behind the wheel of a parked car on Oxford Road. Mensah was also seen to pull a bladed article from his waistband.

The pair were arrested and charged.

Investigating officer PC Usman Shafique, of the Buckinghamshire Proactive Team, said: “Our team will proactively target and prosecute offenders, with both visible and covert activity, aimed at disrupting those involved in the supply of drugs.

"The information from the public around drug supply offences in Wycombe plays an important role in developing intelligence into a proactive investigation.
