Man taken to hospital after crash on M40

One man was taken to hospital after the crash on the Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire border.

A lorry and a van were involved in a collision last night on the M40 between junctions 6, Lewknor, and 5, Stokenchurch.

Thames Valley Police Roads and Policing reported the road was closed due to the crash and Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue were one scene with the following:

One appliance and crew from Thame, one from Watlington, two from Didcot, one from Slade Park, one from Rewley Road, one from Woodstock and four officers.

Firefighters released a man, which was then taken to hospital by South Central Ambulance Service.
