A man's suffered what police have described as a small puncture to his leg - after a fight near Bushey Train Station in Watford at the weekend.

A 20 year old man met two other men during a pre-arranged sale of a Canada Goose jacket on Saturday night.

The men assaulted him before fleeing the scene.

The victim was treated at hospital, but his injuries were not deemed to be life threatening or changing.

The men are described as:

  • A black male of a large, tall build, with short dark hair
  • A black male, around 5ft 9in tall, of slim build

Detective Constable Julie Vint, from the Watford Local Crime Unit said: “Thankfully the victim was not more seriously injured but this was still a horrible ordeal for him.

“Our enquiries are continuing at this time to trace the males involved and we are appealing for the public’s help.

“Did you witness the incident or see two people in the area matching the descriptions given? Any information at all could greatly assist us.”
