A man has been stabbed following a series of knife-related incidents in Luton.

Bedfordshire Police are appealing for information after Sunday's reports, where they were called to a stabbing in Flint Close at 5:40pm.

Officers say the victim, who was found in Denham Close, was taken to hospital with injuries that aren't life threatening.

Around 8pm they received information about an earlier incident where a person was chased with a knife in Sylam Close.

Further knife-related incidents reported to the force led the enactment of a Section 60 Order, enabling officers in the area to have enhanced police powers.

It ended at 8am on Monday morning, but high visibility patrols have been continuing.

Now, detectives are appealing for information and relevant footage.
