Man seriously injured in Hoddesdon dog attack
Police are appealing for the public's help to find someone in connection with the attack
A man has been left with a serious facial injury after a dog attack in Hoddesdon.
Hertfordshire Police say the incident happened in Barclay Park around 8am on January 4.
The victim was walking his two Chihuhuas when they were suddenly attacked by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
The victim then tried to protect his dogs, causing the Terrier to turn the attack onto him.
Police have now released an image, and are asking the public for help to identify the person who may have been in the area at the time.
PC Ruby Hope, from the Broxbourne Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “I am appealing to the public to assist in identifying the individual pictured, as we believe that they were in the area at the time of the incident and may be able to assist with our inquiries.
