A man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a woman in Biggleswade.

Matthew Waddell, 34, was charged with murder on Friday (3 March), following the death of Sarah Albone, 38, who was found at a property in Winston Crescent on Saturday 25 February.

She had initially been reported as missing by her family members who were concerned they had not seen her for months

Waddell, of Winston Crescent, appeared at Luton Crown court today pleaded not guilty to murdering the mother-of-three.

He was remanded in custody ahead of a trial scheduled for 21 August.
