Man left with serious head injuries in Milton Keynes

A cyclist and a motorcyclist were involved in a head-on collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision on Sunday 22nd August that left a man with serious head injuries in Milton Keynes.

It happened at around 4.30pm when a cyclist and a motorcyclist were involved in a head-on collision on V4 Watling Street at the Nightflix entrance.

The 18-year-old cyclist was knocked unconscious and sustained head injuries that required hospital treatment. He has since been discharged.

The motorcyclist did not stop at the scene.

Investigating officer, PC Thomas Walker, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“I would also ask any motorists with dash-cams who were in the local area around the time that this happened to please check any footage in case it may have captured something that could assist the investigation.
