Man knocked unconscious in Beaconsfield attack

A man has fallen victim to grievous bodily harm in an attack in Beaconsfield.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident that happened at around 1am on Sunday morning outside Revolution in Maxwell Road.

The victim, a man in his forties, was getting out of a taxi when he was confronted by an unknown man who punched him in the face.

The victim fell to the floor and was then assaulted by a group of men.

He lost consciousness and sustained multiple facial injuries, which he remains in hospital receiving treatment for.

The offenders are described as a group of between four and five men, all aged in their twenties. One of the men was wearing a white puffa-style jacket.

Investigating officer, PC Conor Cormican, based at Amersham police station, said: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have information about what happened to please come forward.
