Man, 80s, killed in Milton Keynes crash as driver leaves the scene

The man was a pedestrian on Great Monks Street when he was hit and killed on Wednesday

Police are appealing for witnesses, following a fatal crash were a car failed to stop in Milton Keynes.

On Wednesday, at around 7.50pm, a white Audi was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Great Monks Street. Sadly, the pedestrian, a man in his eighties, died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.

The white Audi did not stop at the scene.

In total, six arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Robert Chevalier said, “We are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the white Audi and its occupants either at the time of the collision or immediately after.

“If you were driving around this area during this time or after and may have dash cam footage, please contact us. If you live locally and have door cam footage or CCTV footage in the area, please come forward.
