Man killed in Aylesbury Vale crash

It happened near Calvert on Thursday morning

A man has died after a crash near Calvert in Aylesbury Vale.

Two cars collided at the crossroads of Werner Terrace and Perry Hill yesterday morning.

Police say the man's family are being looked after by specialist officers.

The man, who was in his thirties, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was driving a red Vauxhall Corsa

The driver of a white Seat Ibiza, a woman in her thirties and child were taken to the John Radcliffe hospital but were later discharged.

Investigating officers PC Julia Stroud of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Bicester, said:

“Our thoughts remain with the family of the man who has lost his life following this collision.

“We are investigating the circumstances and would ask anyone with information or if they have dash-cam footage of the incident to please come forward.
