Man in serious condition in hospital following collision in Stevenage

North Road has now reopened

A man has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after a collision in Stevenage.

Hertfordshire Police were called at 4.40am today (Wednesday 11 May) to report a road traffic collision on North Road in Stevenage.

Officers and the East of England Ambulance Service attended.

A black Suzuki Swift and a pedestrian were involved. The pedestrian, a man aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

The driver remained at the scene to assist officers.

Police say any witnesses to the incident are asked to call 101 quoting ISR 63 of 11 May.

The road has now reopened.
