Man in hospital after stabbing in Bedford High Street

Bedfordshire Police have confirmed a man in his twenties was stabbed in Bedford High Street yesterday afternoon (June 26).

Officers were called to the incident after reports of a stabbing, just after 5pm yesterday.

The victim was then taken to hospital with a single stab wound - his injuries are not being treated as life-threatening.

Police are appealing for witnesses, information and relevant footage to be passed onto them
