Man has face cut with knife during assault in High Wycombe

He suffered a laceration to his face which required stitches

A man has had his face cut with a flick knife during an assault in High Wycombe.

It happened at around 7.45pm on Friday (26 March), when the victim, an 18 year-old man, was walking along Kingsmead Reactional Ground.

He was approached by another man who cut the victim's face with a flick knife.

The victim fled the scene.

He suffered a laceration to his face which required stitches following treatment at Wycombe Hospital.

The offender has been described as a black man and was wearing black gloves.

Investigating officer PC Sophie Hill, based at High Wycombe police station said:

"I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or has any information, to please get in touch.
