Aylesbury man charged with multiple counts of assault and other offences

A man has been charged with multiple counts of assault and other offences following an incident in Aylesbury.
Following an investigation from Thames Valley Police, James Simcock, aged 39, of Nappin Close in Aylesbury, has been charged with two counts of racially aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Simcock was further charged with one count each of; racially aggravated assault by beating, affray, criminal damage to property, possession of a controlled drug of class B – cannabis, possession a shortened shotgun and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
The charges are in connection with an incident that occurred in Nappin Close on Friday December 29.
Simcock has since been remanded in custody and is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on January 1, 2024.
