Man found dead after fire at house in Chearsley

A man has died after a fire at a house in Chearsley.

Thames Valley Police have confirmed officers were called at around 3.45am today (15 October) along with the fire service to a fire at a house in the Green.

A spokesperson for the force said:

"Sadly a man was found deceased in the property.

"He has not yet been identified.

"Officers are working along with the fire service to establish the circumstances of the fire."

Earlier today, police said "a number" of emergency services were involved in the incident in Chearsley.

A road closure was in place, but has since reopened.
