Man dies after stabbing in Bushey
Murder suspect charged, investigation ongoing
Police have confirmed that a man in his 30s, who was hospitalised after a stabbing outside the Vu Lounge in Bushey, has died.
The victim’s family is being supported by specialist officers.
Dequarn Williams, 25, of Sancroft Close in north-west London, has been charged with murder and remains in custody. He is scheduled to appear at St Albans Crown Court on 5th December 2025.
A woman in her 30s, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, remains released on bail while investigations continue.
Detective Inspector Lee Martin from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit said: “My thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this tragic time.
“I know this incident will have caused significant concern among the local community. Our investigation is moving at pace and a man has been charged with murder and remanded into custody. We believe this is an isolated incident and there is no risk to the wider public."
