Man dies following road traffic collision in Milton Keynes

An 18-year-old man from Milton Keynes, sustained serious injuries and passed away on Wednesday

A man has died following a road traffic collision in Milton Keynes.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:37pm on Sunday, 28 July, when a Vauxhall Corsa and a Suzuki motorcycle collided on Wolverton Road, at the junction with Marsh Drive.

The rider of the Suzuki, an 18-year-old man from Milton Keynes, sustained serious injuries and was taken to JR2 hospital in Oxford.

He passed away on Wednesday, 31 July. His next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from officers.

Sgt Ed Crofts from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit in Bicester stated, “Our thoughts are with the victim’s family at this time.” He added, “We are appealing for any witnesses who have not already come forward to contact us.”

Sgt Crofts further urged, “If you were in the vicinity of Wolverton Road at the time and saw either of the vehicles prior to the collision we would be keen to hear from you.”
