Man dies after collision in Tempsford

A man has died after a collision involving a car and a van in Tempsford.

It happened on Thursday at around 9.40am between Tempsford Road and Station Road. Police say the white Ford Transit van was travelling north bound.

The driver of the car, a man in his 50’s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have not yet been traced and enquiries are ongoing to locate them.

The van driver sustained serious life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital in a critical condition.
