A man is in a critical condition in hospital after a stabbing at a Milton Keynes festival.

Thames Valley Police were called to Reggae Land Festival last night just before 9pm, where the man had been assaulted in the main arena at The National Bowl.

Officers say they believe the attack was targeted, with no risk to festivalgoers or members of the pubic.

Emergency services attended the scene, taking the man to hospital.

The force say they've "taken a number of statements from witnesses" and will be using CCTV and forensic examinations to assist their enquiries.

Anyone who is yet to speak with police who witnesses the incident is asked to get in touch with officers.
