A man has been charged with murder in connection to a fatal stabbing in Luton.

19-year-old Dylan Myrie, of Hallwicks Road, Luton, was arrested by Bedfordshire Police on Sunday (June 25) and has now been charged with murder.

37-year-old Dean Fountaine, from Leighton Buzzard, died after being fatally stabbed in Luton.

Mr Myrie appeared in Luton Magistrates' Court yesterday (Tuesday) charged with his murder, and has now been remanded in custody, to appear at Luton Crown Court tomorrow (June 29).

A murder investigation was launched after police were called to Ashton Road, Luton on Monday 19 June following reports of a stabbing.

Mr Fountaine was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the incident, and sadly died the next morning (Tuesday 20 June).
