Man charged with robbery and assault after Bletchley Co-op incident

A man has been charged in connection with a robbery that happened in Bletchley on Wednesday (17 December).
Wayne Thomas, aged 33, of Ennerdale Close, Bletchley, was charged this morning (Friday 19 December) with two counts of robbery, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one count of possession of an imitation firearm while committing a Schedule 1 offence.
Thames Valley Police says the charges are in connection with an incident at the Co-operative store in Water Eaton Road, Bletchley, at just before 6am on Wednesday.
Officers arrested Thomas on Wednesday evening.
A second man, aged 46, from Milton Keynes, who was also arrested in connection with the incident, has been released on conditional police bail.
Thomas has been remanded in custody and will appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 19 January 2026.
