Man charged over Thame dad's death

Over a year since a dad from Thame was killed in a crash on the M40, a man has been charged.

28-year-old Gagandeep Rai, from Stafford Avenue in Slough, is accused of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Pete Chamberlain died in the collision in September 2019.

His van crashed with a car, before hitting trees and fencing - with the 38-year-old passing away at the scene.

At the time, his family said:

“Pete was a loving husband and best friend to his wife Gemma and Daddy to Chloe, Rosie and Zac.

“Pete was a kind, happy and hard-working man who was tragically taken from us far too soon and a huge hole is now left in our hearts."

Mr. Rai is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on 13th November for a first hearing.
