A man has been charged with murder, following the death of a 48-year-old man in Milton Keynes.

24-year-old Jay Lupton, of Fen Street, Milton Keynes, was charged last night (January 29) with murder and two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker in police custody.

He's due to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates' Court today (January 30).

It follows the force being called by the South Central Ambulance Service on Thursday 25th January, to Fen Street, where a man had been found stabbed.

The 48-year-old victim died at the scene.

Thames Valley Police say they aren't looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation, and are continuing to appeal for any footage or information from anyone in the area of Brooklands Square and Fen Street from last Thursday, who hasn't already spoken with the force.
