Man charged with former police officer's murder in Aylesbury

A man has been charged with murdering a former police officer in Aylesbury.

34-year-old Daniel Wisniewski, of no fixed abode, was charged today (2/5).

It is in connection with the death of Clive Porter on Monday (26/4) at the Grand Union Canal near Broughton.

The 63-year-old was found with serious injuries and died at the scene.

On Thursday, his family paid tribute to him.

Wisniewski will appear at High Wycombe Magistrates court on Monday 3rd May 2021.

A 41-year-old woman from Birmingham, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and perverting the court of justice, has now been released on bail to appear at Aylesbury police station on 24 May.
