Man charged with attempted murder after Milton Keynes stabbing

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, but he is expected to make a recovery

A man has been charged with attempted murder, section 18 wounding with intent and possession of a knife/blade or sharp pointed article in a public place.

It is following an incident in Milton Keynes in the early hours of Sunday morning (27 October 2024).

Nicusor Rapa, aged 35, of Haywards Croft, Greenleys, Milton Keynes, has now been charged after being arrested on Monday (28 October).

The charges are in connection with an incident in Pinders Croft, Greenleys, at around 1am on Sunday morning in which a man aged in his fifties was stabbed to the chest and also sustained head injuries.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, but he is expected to make a recovery.

Two other men, aged 25 and 37, both of no fixed abode, were arrested in connection with the incident but have since been released without charge.

Rapa appeared at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court yesterday (30 October) where he was remanded in custody to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 26 November.
