Man charged after traffic obstructed in Hemel Hempstead

No vehicles were damaged during the incident and no one was injured.

A man has been charged after reports of a man obstructing traffic and acting aggressively towards drivers in Hemel Hempstead at the weekend.

At around 5.30pm on Sunday (30 January), police received several calls reporting that a man was allegedly obstructing traffic on Leighton Buzzard Road and acting in an aggressive manner towards drivers. No vehicles were damaged during the incident and no one was injured.

John Dell, aged 60, of Springfield, Gossoms End, Berkhamsted has been charged with drunk and disorderly and wilful obstruction of the highway.

He is due to appear at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 1 March.
