Man arrested after Easter Monday explosion in Sharnbrook

A man in his forties has been arrested after a 'small explosion' in Sharnbrook.
Bedfordshire Police say the man was taken to hospital with series injuries after the incident on Easter Monday (April 10) in Loring Road and was arrested after receiving treatment.
Residents in the area have been evacuated, which police say is as a precaution, and emergency services and police attended the scene.
Specialist teams and police remain at the site and specialist searches will be continuing.
Police have insisted the incident is nothing to worry about, and believe it to be an 'isolated incident with no risk to the wider public.'
