Man arrested after pedestrian dies in Wormley crash

An appeal for witnesses is underway

A woman has died after a crash in Wormley last night.

Hertfordshire Police were called after a collision involving a white Mitsubishi pick-up and a female pedestrian on the High Road just after 6:30pm.

The woman died at the scene, and her family are being supported.

Officer's arrested a man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Sergeant Timothy Davies from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit said:

“We are working to establish the circumstances of what happened and would urge anyone who was in the area at the time to please make contact with via email at [email protected] with any information. I would also urge drivers to check their dash cam footage to see if they captured the collision or the Mitsubishi prior to the collision.”
