Two men stabbed in Luton
Both men were taken to hospital where they remain
Two men have suffered stab wounds after an incident in Luton.
Officers were initially called to Sainsbury's in Dunstable Road, shortly after 4.30pm yesterday (12 November) to reports of a man with serious stab wounds.
A further call was received at around 4.45pm to reports of a second man injured in Brantwood Road.
Both men were taken to hospital where they remain. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Bedfordshire Police are working with partners and will next week be part of the national Sceptre week of action against knife crime.
Detective Inspector Kim Caddy, said: “This violence has seen two people seriously injured, but it also spreads fear and has a lasting impact on the wider community.
“We remain committed to ensuring that those who arm themselves with knives and resort to violence will be held accountable for the harm they cause.”
