Labour win 7 seats in Hertfordshire in General Election

Sir Keir Starmer's party have won 7 seats across the county, with LibDems retaining one and gaining another

It's been a historic night for Labour in Hertfordshire and across the UK- with Sir Keir Starmer's Party winning seven seats in the county, at this General Election.

They won the contests in North East Hertfordshire, Hertford and Stortford, Stevenage, Hemel Hempstead, Watford, Welwyn Hatfield and the new constituency of Hitchin. With two seats going to the Lib Dems in Harpenden and Berkhamsted, and St Albans.
