Murder investigation launched after man dies following High Wycombe burglary

A man in his 90s has died following the break-in last weekend

Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was fatally injured during a burglary in High Wycombe.

The break in happened at around 2:45pm last Saturday (November 19) at a property on Cedar Terrace.

A man in his 90s was seriously injured during the incident and has now died in hospital.

Around £250 in cash was taken, along with jewellery.

46 year old Andrew Francis, of West Wycombe Road in High Wycombe, is cahrged with burglary, GBH, assault of an emergency worker and criminal damage.

He's been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Aylesbury Crown Court on December 23.

A 39 year old man from High Wycombe remains in police custody on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary.

A 39 year old woman has been released on bail until February next year.
