Pedestrian killed in High Wycombe hit and run

A pedestrian has died after a hit and run in High Wycombe.

Thames Valley Police were called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Hughenden Avenue, High Wycombe at around 10.30pm last night (20/05).

Sadly the pedestrian, a 56-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

The vehicle which hit him, believed to be a Vauxhall Astra type car, did not stop at the scene,

Officers are investigating the incident but no arrests have been made.

Thames Valley Police provided the following request:
