Residents asked to share memories of Prince Risborough
The Town Council want to create a heritage trail of the "good old days"
People living in Princes Risborough are being asked to share their memories of the "good old days".
The Town Council is calling upon its resident’s past and present and asking people to share their stories which will assist the Town Council with the development of a heritage trail for the Parish.
A new Facebook group called “The Risborough Community Heritage project” allows people to upload photos and stories of life in the Risborough’s and is supported by a website which gives information on the project and informs visitors of how to submit information.
The website also links to an online survey where you can catalogue your memories. The Heritage trail which the Town Council plan to launch this summer will consist of a free app to download (compatible with both App & Android platforms) and a hardcopy map that will guide participants and visitors to interesting and fascinating parts of the town.
The trail forms part of the Council’s regeneration plan in order to make Princes Risborough a destination for visitors and local residents alike, which also includes a brand new community space and café as well as various events and attractions throughout the year.
