The Health Secretary visited a vaccination centre in Aylesbury yesterday evening.

Matt Hancock spoke outside The Stoke Mandeville Stadium Vaccination Centre yesterday (12th February) and delivered the news that the UK is on track to vaccinate the top four priority groups by Monday.

England and Wales have hit the target already, with Scotland and Northern Ireland set to do the same this weekend.

Mr Hancock said:

"We're nearly there, we've got a huge amount of effort this weekend here at Stoke Mandeville and across the country.

"But, we are on track to meet the target and I want to thank everyone who's been involved."

Aylesbury's MP, Rob Butler, and leader of Buckinghamshire Council, Martin Tett, joined Mr Hancock at the centre.

Wheelpower, who run the stadium, were thrilled the Health Secretary came to see the incredible work by staff and volunteers at the centre.
