Two men injured after grievous bodily harm incident in Aylesbury

Police believe a knife or bladed article was used

One man has suffered a stab wound and another cuts after an incident of grievous bodily harm in Aylesbury.

An incident took place in Fairfax Crescent between 9.45pm and 10.45pm yesterday (16 June), which resulted in two men, aged 19 and 24, sustaining injuries while they were inside a vehicle.

One of the victims suffered a stab wound to his arm, and the other had minor cuts to his arms.

The first victim required hospital treatment but has since been discharged.

The second victim did not require hospital treatment.

It was reported that there were up to eight offenders involved, who were all dressed in dark clothing.

Detective Constable Hannah Davison, of Aylesbury police station, said:

"I am appealing for witnesses to this incident, whereby two men who were inside a vehicle in Fairfax Crescent suffered injuries believed to have been caused by a bladed article or knife.

"One of them had to receive hospital treatment, but has thankfully since been discharged.

"The other did not need to go to hospital.

"Thankfully this is a rare incident that we also believe to be isolated.

"However, police officers will be conducting reassurance patrols in the local area over the next coming days.

"I would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Fairfax Crescent between 9.45pm and 10.45pm on Wednesday night, and believes they may have information relating to this incident, or that saw something, to please get in touch with police.

"Please make a report, either online, or by calling 101, if you think you can help.
